Economic Development

The Glascock County Industrial Development Authority serves as the point of contact for economic development projects in Glascock County. The Board is comprised of seven members with six appointed by the County Commissioners and the seventh seat is filled by the local representative in the House of Representatives – as stated in our Constitutional Charter.

The Authority is responsible for the recruitment of new business and assisting with any other major economic development projects in the county.
